Featured PLTI Parent: Rosalind Brown
PTLI 2015 cohort member Rosalind Brown is currently hard at work on Home Base, a community service program that offers skills and experience to single parents, young parents and young adults on learning and re-learning domestic home skills.
“I work in the school system and have found that kids are having a shaky time with stability because parents don’t have the skills that they need to make a stable home,” Rosalind says. Home Base helps parents learn skills cooking, sewing, cleaning, family communication and more — and she already has seven instructors lined up! Cheers to Rosalind and her efforts to build stable home foundations for families in her community. More About PLTI NOLA
